Ganapati Bappa Moriya...(Part 3)

Ten days festival is over. But the hangout still continues for lot of devotees. For me, Ganapati Immersion is really exciting. Lots of small group, their energy, group of volunters, policemen, prayer, colours...
There is no particular single day of immersion. Ganesha festival starts from Ganesha Chaturthi. From Panchami to Chaturdashi (2nd to 11th day), any day lord ganesha can be immersed. But most immersion can be seen on 2nd, 6th and 11th day.
colourful painting for the last time beside the big pond
O' Lord, keep your feet on my head
In India, everywhere you can see a large queue
She has no leave, specially in these colourful days.
I protect you from rain, protect me when I need.
Prayer for the last time.

Sixth Day is specially for Gouri Immersion. In konkan part of Maharashtra Godess Laxmi is known as gouri. Family person arrange Laxmi puja with Ganesha in their home for happiness.
Some enjoyable dancing steps.
and some ugly side of the socity
Even in dark night, couples are keen to participate in immersion
So the volunters have to stay in the cold water
Everything is over now. Only the vehicle, on which one ganesha came, is the lonely watchman with the rejected flowers and fire.
