When kids became representatives of Indian society

When little kids became the representatives of our society, that is something different to see. With full of passion, they are just awesome.
Before even starting of a new life, illness starts. So doctor is ready with his stethoscope for you.
But all illness may go with thousand watt smile of an young lady, is'nt it?
Though we every time just use bad words to them, can you imagine a society without police?
Personally for me, Bengali Saree for married women is the ultimate traditional dress.
From east to extreme south. Is not a Keralian very different?
and Maharshtrian Konkani lady?
or Marathi manush with that red line on his forehead?
But this lady is looking good with all of her jwellery.
But which material this sellsman of village is selling?
The food will be really yammy from this little doll.
Whether you like it or not, cast system exists in India, and this little brahmin of north India is looking great.
Is the south Indian brahmins are more talkative?
Whatever may be, these little kids are so colourful, that you can't move your eyes from them.

Ganapati Bappa Moriya...(Part 3)

Ten days festival is over. But the hangout still continues for lot of devotees. For me, Ganapati Immersion is really exciting. Lots of small group, their energy, group of volunters, policemen, prayer, colours...
There is no particular single day of immersion. Ganesha festival starts from Ganesha Chaturthi. From Panchami to Chaturdashi (2nd to 11th day), any day lord ganesha can be immersed. But most immersion can be seen on 2nd, 6th and 11th day.
colourful painting for the last time beside the big pond
O' Lord, keep your feet on my head
In India, everywhere you can see a large queue
She has no leave, specially in these colourful days.
I protect you from rain, protect me when I need.
Prayer for the last time.

Sixth Day is specially for Gouri Immersion. In konkan part of Maharashtra Godess Laxmi is known as gouri. Family person arrange Laxmi puja with Ganesha in their home for happiness.
Some enjoyable dancing steps.
and some ugly side of the socity
Even in dark night, couples are keen to participate in immersion
So the volunters have to stay in the cold water
Everything is over now. Only the vehicle, on which one ganesha came, is the lonely watchman with the rejected flowers and fire.

Ganapati Bappa Moriya...(Part 2)

There are two major things in Ganesha festival which attracts me in this. Unlike other puja, the prayers are chanted in local language (Marathi) and the flexibility in the duration of festival. According to your time and budjet that can be of two days or five or ten days.
'Aarti' (Preyers) are being done by the people, not the 'brahmin'.
taking the blessing of holy fire.
Some rituals to start the puja
distribution of the famous 'modak' as 'prasad'
What is the colour of prayer?
 Copycats
 Holy 'Diya'
  Framing...

Ganapati Bappa Moriya...(Part 1)

Undoubtably the biggest festival of Maharashtra, Puja of Lord Ganesha is going on. Here some of the moments are presented via my lense.

 'Bappa' waiting to come
 Cloning in the potter's house.
Being ready to come in devotee's house
 Evening wait
 Final touch
 that was missed!
 Coming with his blessing power
praying for the family
